How to obtain connection

Step 1
Application for the Terms for Connectionto ENION S.A. distribution network 

To initiate the procedure for getting connection to the network, one must file the Application for the Terms for Connection. The following information should be provided on the form:  
  • Applicant’s personal and contact data (on the basis of an ID or other piece of document testifying to Applicant’s identity),
  • Type of premises to be connected to the network (e.g. a residential building, dwelling unit, car garage, summerhouse, construction site, etc.),
  • Estimated Required Connection Capacity,
  • Maximum Capacity of installations to be used on the premises.

The following documents should be attached to the completed application form:
- development plan or a site plan presenting the location of the premises to be connected to the network,
- document testifying to Applicant’s legal title to the premises.
Completed application form, together with the attachments referred to above, should be sent to the nearest facility of ENION S.A. (the nearest to the premises to be connected), or submitted in person.   
In the case of problems with filling in the application form, the personnel of ENION S.A. Customer Service Point will provide necessary guidance and assist in completing the form.
 
Step 2
Terms for Connection
 
On the basis of a completed application form, ENION S.A. staff will prepare the Terms for Connection for the Entity and a draft Connection Agreement. Terms for Connection are issued according to the following timeframe:
  • 14 days for low voltage network connection,
  • 60 days for medium voltage network connection.
Terms for Connection, together with draft Connection Agreement, are mailed to the Applicant. They may also be received in person, subject to notice at the point of submission of the Application for the Terms for Connection.   
 
Step 3
Conclusion of Connection Agreement.
 
Once the Terms for Connection have been received and approved, Connection Agreement must be signed. To that purpose, one should contact the unit of ENION S.A. specified in the Terms for Connection and make an appointment for the conclusion of Connection Agreement. In order to conclude Connection Agreement, one must produce a legal title to the premises to be connected. Once the Connection Agreement has been signed by both parties, design work and construction/installation work related the making of the connection may be started. 
 
Step 4
Execution of Connection Agreement.
 
Once Connection Agreement has been signed, the parties begin to carry out their contractual obligations.  The timeframe for the execution of Connection Agreement is contingent upon many different factors, and it may take from several weeks up to more than ten months.
 
Step 5
Making the connection and energizing the Service Line.
 
The premises can be physically connected to the network once all contractual obligations of the parties to Connection Agreement have been satisfied, i.e.:
  • Construction and installation work on the part of ENION S.A.has been carried out;
  • Terminal installation on the premises has been put in place,
  • Connection Charge has been paid,
  • Installation has been reported for approval.
Connection can be activated, i.e. energized, once the following steps are completed:
  • Distribution Agreement or General Agreement has been signed,
  • Metering and billing system has been installed.
