How to fill in the Terms for Connection Application Form?
Explanation with pictures (links to the application form for individual/business clients)

Where should I file the Terms for Connection Application?
Application may be filed to the relevant Distribution Region (completed Terms for Connection Application Form). Application form can be obtained from any Distribution Region, and the staff will be happy to help fill it in. Application form can also be obtained from our web site, and then completed and mailed to the correspondence address of a relevant Customer Service Point.

What are the Terms for Connection and draft Connection Agreement?
It is a document issued on the basis of the Terms for Connection Application Form, which specifies the scope of design and contractor work necessary to connect the premises to the network. Those terms define, among other things, the Point of Connection, Exit Point, Connection Capacity, type of connection to the network, etc. It remains valid for two years from issue.

Is it possible to modify the Terms for Connection?
Yes. To do that, one should visit relevant Distribution Region in order to discuss the alterations.

Where should I go to conclude Connection Agreement?
What capacity should I put in the Terms for Connection and how should I define its value?
The capacity you want to apply foron the application formis defined by calculating the aggregate capacity of equipment that will operate on the premises at the same time. The value obtained in that way should then be compared with the table below to see which capacity limit exceeds our value, and that capacity limit should be put on the application form.

Can Connection Charge be paid in installments?
No, there is no such option.

What are the requirements of a distribution company when one wants to replace single-rate meter with a double-rate meter without changing connection capacity, and how much does it cost ?
According toENION S.A. Tariff, a consumer may apply for a change of tariff category once every 12 months.
Conditions regarding the change of tariff category are set forth in the General Agreement or Distribution Agreement. There is no charge on the side of consumer for the work performed by Distribution Company with regard to the change of tariff category under the same conditions of supply. The only cost, if any, may be related to the fact that some preparatory work might be needed for the installation of metering and billing system.

What is the basic difference between one phase and three phase service line?
Onephase service line can be used to supply electricity to the equipment of 230 V rated voltage. Three phase service line can be used to supply electricity to the equipment of 400 V rated voltage. Typically, 230 V voltage is used to feed the equipment with lower power input (e.g. audiovisual equipment, household appliances, lightning.) 400 V supply is usually required by the so-called „power machines” with greater power input (e.g.  concrete mixers, arc welders, three-phase motors, electric cookers with cooking ovens, large heaters and heating stoves.) Consequently, one phase service lines are typically installed for users with lower power input (e.g. apartments in multiple occupancy buildings with low power input, kiosks, small shops). Consumers with greater power input (e.g. detached houses, workshops, businesses) require three phase service line supply.

What is the cost of connection?
Application is filed and the Terms for Connection are issued free of charge. There is no fee for the conclusion of Connection Agreement, and the cost of connection is equivalent to (connection rates effective as of 30.01.2009):
for connection class 4:
    - service line up to 200 metres (overhead lines) – PLN 96,73
    - service line up to 200 metres (undergroud cable) - PLN 119,30
for connection class 5:
    - service line up to 200 metres (overhead lines) - PLN 108,55
    - service line up to 200 metres (undergroud cable) - PLN 136,50
In the case of a service line over and above 200 metres, additional fee of PLN 38,70 is charged per each subsequent metre.

What are the charges for de-energizing and re-energizing on customer’s request?
Charges for the work carried out byENION S.A. upon additional request from the consumer connected to the network are calculated on the basis of rates:
De-energising and re-energising
        - low voltage lines: PLN 71,74 net
        - medium voltage lines: PLN 107,61 net
        - high voltage lines: PLN 134,52 net
All the charges for additional services and works carried out upon consumer’s request can be found in Electricity Tariff for consumers serviced by ENION S.A., with its seat in Kraków.

Under what circumstances can distribution company stop electricity supply on the grounds of identified safety breach of consumer’s installation?
Pursuant toEnergy Law dated 10 April 1997, energy enterprise may stop electricity supply in the case when it is determined during an inspection that consumer’s installation poses direct threat to life, health or the environment. The most common examples of cases posing a threat to life, health or the environment and regarding consumer’s electricity installation are as follows: ‘fixing’ safety fuse-links, makeshift wiring joints (e.g. twisting duct ends without proper insulation), damaged cable boxes or sockets, damaged or overheated insulation of appliances or wiring threatening that a person may have direct access to live elements or a fire may break out.
